Ben Stewart
Managing Partner
As the founding partner of Provident Partners, Ben is a seasoned industrial real estate professional. With over $1B in transaction volume, his experience includes industrial development and acquisitions in addition to extensive experience in leasing and investment sales. His primary responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, sourcing development and acquisition opportunities, managing joint venture partnerships, and leading a team of internal and external development professionals.
Prior to founding Provident, Ben was a Senior Vice President at CBRE and led the highest producing team in his office over his final three years at the firm. He developed a reputation as a deal maker and for sourcing off-market opportunities that delivered exceptional returns. Over his career, Ben has developed and acquired a variety of industrial properties throughout Northeast Florida which have brought outstanding returns to his equity partners.
Ben earned his Master of Business Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University. He is a grateful husband to his wife of almost twenty years and father to four beautiful children.
Scott Martin
Head of Development & Acquisitions
Scott Martin serves as Head of Development and Acquisitions for Provident Partners and plays a pivotal role in all aspects of the development and acquisition process. His responsibilities include due diligence and site feasibility, construction management, market analysis, occupancy, and dispositions. He has more than 20 years of experience in design and construction for commercial real estate developments including industrial, retail, and office facilities.
Prior to joining Provident Partners, Scott was Vice President of Development at Hillwood Investment Properties. While at Hillwood, Scott was responsible for projects totaling over $850 million and 10 million square feet in built-to-suit and speculative warehouse development around the southeast. Other past experiences include senior project management roles at DCT Industrial Trust, CBRE, and Global Logistics Properties.
Scott received his Bachelors of Science in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2001 and an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia in 2010. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional certified to assist in the green building process.
